Key Club

“An international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership, ” Sponsor of the club, Elizabeth Kominar stated.

Students interested in helping their community or earn some volunteer hours can join Key club which will prove this for them.

By attending a meeting students can get access and join the google classroom. From there students will complete a registration form, which they return the next time they attend a meeting. This signed form makes them an official member of the club. As a member of the club, students are required to complete 30 volunteer hours by March.

Some examples of how students can earn these volunteer hours are fundraising for UNICEF, March of Dimes, and Children Miracle Network.

Volunteering can also be done wherever the community needs volunteers. Some examples could be volunteering at animal shelters, coastal cleanups, or chaperoning at a local event. For those interested, meetings are after school on Mondays in room 264.
