Skate. is an extremely fun skateboarding game that really stands out because of its realistic controls. Instead of just pressing buttons to do tricks, it uses the joysticks to mimic actual skateboarding moves. The game’s map is huge, and gives an opportunity to interact with everything around it, along with the multiple skate parks, opening many opportunities for creativity.

The graphics, and music really fit the skate culture perfectly. Plus, the game has a great system where players can level up and unlock gear for their skateboard and character. This keeps players motivated to keep playing since there is no way to know what will be given when you next level up.

The developers of Skate., Full Circle, set the game in the city of San Vansterdam, this gives the game amazing gameplay due to the city’s size. 

In the older Skate games, there’s been a climbing effect. For this newest game, Full Circle’s stepped up by making the climbing movement look more realistic. Other basic movements have also been upgraded since the last game, Skate 3.

The look of the characters has drastically changed since the last game. The characters look more cartoony than realistic, unlike the previous Skate games, adding excitement. As well, Full Circle improved the soundtracks for the game and you can now collect different music from radios, boomboxes, and more.

In the old Skate games, you could earn things such as clothes for characters and customization for the in-game skateboard. In the current game they now have tabs where you can go to the shop, avatar editor, missions, and quests. 

While completing missions, players earn rewards such as money, clothes, stickers, skateboard customization, and nametags. With the many things that Full Circle has upgraded with the game, the tabs and mission upgrades may be the most enticing.

Even though the game is early access, it’s next level. Full Circle is still working on parts of the game, so it will be better than described once it is fully released. Also, early access allows players to find bugs in the game and request add ons or things to be taken off, helping the gameplay be much more enjoyable.

Overall, Skate. is a fun game and will be much more advanced once it is fully finished. It may or may not be better than its predecessors, but with the newer stuff in the game such as controls, avatars, missions, etc. the game is much more immersive. Once it is finished, it will possibly be a game for millions to enjoy.
