Artificial intelligence is a horrible tool for a multitude of reasons.
For instance, it takes jobs away from humans and makes people more lazy.
It can also potentially be a threat to humans due to recent improvements. Over the years, AI has become significantly more advanced, and it’s become much harder to tell what’s real or fake.
As well, many students are going to college for jobs that will just be taken over by AI, causing many people to waste hundreds of thousands of dollars.
It’s understandable that large corporations choose robots to work since robots don’t require pay or breaks. However, this causes humans to become lazy. Being driven to laziness, humans will slowly stop taking care of themselves, and will end up unhealthy.
AI can also put humans in potential danger. If AI takes over certain jobs, their minor mistakes can create horrible disasters.
For example, if AI ends up building cars, mistakes could lead to malfunctions which could lead to tragedies. Also, if someone wanted to, they could program robots to tell wrong information. Since humanity so strongly relies on AI, misinformation will spread.
In school, students tend to use AI to cheat their way through work and tests. When students use AI as a way to pass, it takes away the whole point of school, which is to actively learn.
While some may think otherwise, AI commonly spreads false information and isn’t as helpful as it seems.
If AI was to not be used as much, people could go back to jobs that AI takes away, and people won’t turn to laziness. Humans still have a long way to go before we can fully let go of AI and the laziness that comes with it. However, when the time comes the world will run much smoother.
